Fruit is a type of commodity which can be obtained by picking it from fruit bearing tree groves such as apple or pear groves.
Fruit needs to be processed before you can eat it, but can be converted into edible food at Greengrocers industries. You can also use the 'work' command to scrump some edible fruit if you do not have access to greengrocers.
