Every Monday night there is a combat challenge event in the Arena near the city of Gralthar:

• Klostus Mohaven

A freakishly large human, with bulging muscles and dressed in flexible leather armour which is so small against his frame it appears to be just straps. His eyes seem locked in a permanent glare, and his mouth is similarly fixed in a grimace. When not fighting, he constantly flexes his arms against his chest.

• Ragvan Gurrush

A muscular orc, fairly short but very wide, Ragvan has tribal tattoos all over his bare chest and has his long black hair tied in a top knot with a thick leather cord. One of his eyes is white and a scar runs through it, but the other eye looks clear and sharp. Type 'combat' to see the special commands relating to this challenger. Ragvan Gurrush is in excellent health. In his right hand he wields a crude iron battleaxe.

Every Wednesday night in the US and Thursday morning in UK and surrounding area there is a worldwide event, with different events from week to week. One example is an undead invasion:

• A moan sounds somewhere in the distance. You can't quite tell which direction it is coming from.There is a slight tremble in the ground beneath your feet.A young but confident sounding voice rises into the air;"I'll show you all!"The air fills with the moans of the undead.The young, confident voice shouts out again, "Everyone laughed at me when I went to study under Dresh. But who's laughing now! I've studied well."

The stench of rotting flesh drifts in on the breeze. "Defend yourself or perish!

This is the undead warrior. He leaves a ring of everlife on the floor after you kill him.

The rift of darkness above you begins to pulse and writh, the horrific shrieking continuing. Seven dark beings shoot out from the rift of darkness, spreading all around Elysium!

This is the shadow beast. Once killed, he will drop the shadow pendant.
