Nurmek Leptin was born on the 6th day of the 3rd week of Calmwind, 1556 years after the fall of the great Hakarren Empire amongst the rubbish lands of Ug’nok which dwelt within the Kingdom of Ruk’tan. His mother was a whore, and he without a father, a bastard, survived by theft and prostitution. During a famine in his 9th year, his mother left him in hopes of finding a ship crew in need of “entertainment” but never returned. Nurmek survived his rough, but common, life within the streets by dabbling into greater amounts of theft and rough housing in better circles for coin. One evening a witch doctor hired his services to collect corpses of vermin and became interested in the boy’s talents beyond that of the physical realm. In return of his promise to continue through the academy and remember him later in life, the witch doctor taught him a few basic curses and how to feel the magic channeling within the realm. During the times of Chieftan Modoc Bearclaw, Nurmek Leptin was taught to hate the blood that runs in elven veins as a savage war between the two nations continued. It was here that he watched the battles amongst his homelands, and became fascinated with war. This later aided him as he led troops against elven forces with Morgak Gulfurth and later, the Cyclops king, Zoryx Que-Hagan. Upon wandering through the deserts in search for injured legions, Nurmek came across a demonic rift that brought him deep within hades to see the a glimpse of the end of time. Upon his sudden return to his homeland, a new and chaotic aura pulsates from his body and the Leptin Blade (a mysterious and evil sword crafted with part of his spirit while in hades). Nurmek now dominates his people, and they grow with unholy speed…
