Foraging
In Game Description
The foraging skill allows you to search for and process wild fruits and other edible items, making it a key skill for those who want to survive on their own wits, and an essential tool for those with an interest in baking and cookery.
As you improve your skills in Foraging you become able to forage an increasing range of foods, including mushrooms and nuts as well as the more common fruits.
Forageable items can be found either in forest terrains or growing amongst tree groves in other areas, and the type of item you find in any one location is fixed, so if you find a convenient source of wild strawberries, you can remember that spot and visit it frequently for more food.
The raw items found with this skill are inedible, and need to be processed first, but the forager will also learn how to do this. Skilled foragers can even make fruit commodities from their finds to process into other foods at industries.
The primary command used when foraging is 'forage', which you can use to both locate and pick items, as well as process them into edible forms.
Learning
Foraging is taught by the wilderness roamers on each continent.
