Goldsmithing

In Game Description

Goldsmithing is the skill of making small items, mostly jewellery but includes other items too, fashioned from gold.

A skilled goldsmith can make a variety of different products, mostly using gold but also working with gemstones as well.

When you learn an ability in this skill, you learn how to make one or more variants of a particular type of gold item, for example rings, or brooches.

Improving your crafting skills, both by learning other abilities within goldsmithing, and by learning abilities in other craft-based skill groups, will unlock additional more complex pieces. You will be able to see what the next variant of a particular type you will unlock will be by typing the name of the ability, as well as seeing the list of items you have already unlocked.

You can then construct the items using the craft command - Full syntax will be shown alongside the list of items you can make. You will need appropriate tools and materials to construct the items.

Some items made with this ability can be constructed in industries, but a skilled goldsmith will be able to make all those items plus more unique ones which can only be made with the craft command.

Goldsmithing is taught by Alryn Sevenfields who moves from city to city.
